- 1 lb fresh green beans, trimmed
- 1 can (10 oz) cream of mushroom soup
- ½ cup whole milk
- 1 cup French fried onions (divided)
- ½ tsp salt
- ¼ tsp black pepper
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Wash and trim the fresh green beans.
- In a large bowl, mix the cream of mushroom soup and milk until smooth. Season with salt and pepper.
- Add the green beans to the creamy mixture, stirring until well coated.
- Transfer to a greased baking dish and sprinkle half of the French fried onions on top.
- Bake for 25 minutes until bubbly and golden brown.
- Remove from oven, top with remaining fried onions, and bake for an additional 10 minutes for extra crunch.
Notes
- For extra flavor, consider adding garlic or onion powder to the creamy mixture.
- This casserole can be made ahead of time and baked just before serving.
