Description

Ingredients

  • 1 cup powdered sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • ½ teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • ½ cup mini chocolate chips
  • 14 oz pre-made pie crusts
  • 1 egg, beaten
  • 1 tablespoon granulated sugar
  • Chopped pistachios
  • Maraschino cherries
  • Extra chocolate chips

Instructions

  1. Prepare the Filling: Mix ricotta, powdered sugar, vanilla, and cinnamon until smooth. Fold in chocolate chips.
  2. Preheat the Oven: Heat oven to 375°F (190°C).
  3. Prepare the Bottom Crust: Press one pie crust into a 9×9-inch baking dish.
  4. Add the Filling: Spread ricotta mixture evenly over the crust.
  5. Add the Top Crust: Place second crust on top, seal edges, brush with egg, and sprinkle sugar.
  6. Bake: Bake for 30–35 minutes until golden.
  7. Cool and Slice: Cool at least 30 minutes before cutting into squares.
