Description

Ingredients

  • 8 oz pasta (spaghetti or fettuccine)
  • 4 cloves fresh garlic, minced
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1 cup freshly grated parmesan cheese
  • 2 tbsp unsalted butter
  • 2 tbsp fresh parsley, chopped

  • to taste Pepper

Instructions

  1. Cook the Pasta: Boil salted water in a large pot and cook pasta according to package instructions until al dente. Drain, reserving some pasta water.
  2. Sauté the Garlic: In a skillet over medium heat, melt butter. Add minced garlic and sauté until fragrant but not burnt.
  3. Create the Sauce: Stir in heavy cream and simmer gently. Season with salt and pepper.
  4. Add Parmesan: Whisk in grated parmesan until melted and smooth.
  5. Combine: Toss cooked pasta in the sauce, adding reserved pasta water as needed for desired consistency.
  6. Garnish & Serve: Top with chopped parsley and serve immediately.
