Delicious and healthy brownies made with beans, oats, and chocolate chips.
Ingredients

- 2 cans white beans or garbanzo beans (500 g total, drained)
- 1 cup quick oats or almond flour
- 1/4 cup applesauce or yogurt
- 3 tbsp oil or 1/4 cup nut butter
- 2 tsp pure vanilla extract
- 2 tsp baking powder
- 1/2 tsp baking soda
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1 1/2 cups brown sugar or unrefined sugar
- 1 cup chocolate chips
Instructions
- Prep the Beans: Drain and rinse beans thoroughly to remove excess liquid.
- Blend the Batter: Add all ingredients except chocolate chips to a food processor and blend until smooth.
- Fold in Chocolate Chips: Stir chocolate chips gently into the batter.
- Prepare the Pan: Grease a 9- or 10-inch springform pan and spread batter evenly.
- Bake: Bake at 350°F for 35 minutes until edges are set.
- Rest and Serve: Let stand 10 minutes before removing from pan and slicing.
Notes
- Store leftovers in an airtight container.
- For a variation, add nuts or dried fruit.
