- 3 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
- 1/2 cup ranch dressing
- 4 whole wheat buns
- 1 cup shredded lettuce
- 1 large tomato, sliced
- 4 slices sharp cheddar cheese
- 2 tsp hot sauce (optional)
Instructions
- Preheat grill or skillet over medium-high heat.
- Season chicken with salt and pepper; cook for about 6-7 minutes per side until golden and cooked through.
- Let chicken rest for a few minutes before shredding with two forks into bite-sized pieces.
- In a bowl, combine shredded chicken with ranch dressing and hot sauce (if using). Toss until well coated.
- Layer shredded lettuce, ranch-coated chicken, tomato slices, and cheddar cheese onto each bun.
- Enjoy fresh off the grill while warm. Drizzle extra ranch dressing on top if desired.
Notes
- For a spicier flavor, add more hot sauce to the chicken mixture.
