Ingredients

  • 4 whole wheat buns
  • 1 cup shredded lettuce
  • 1 large tomato, sliced
  • 4 slices sharp cheddar cheese
  • 2 tsp hot sauce (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat grill or skillet over medium-high heat.
  2. Season chicken with salt and pepper; cook for about 6-7 minutes per side until golden and cooked through.
  3. Let chicken rest for a few minutes before shredding with two forks into bite-sized pieces.
  4. In a bowl, combine shredded chicken with ranch dressing and hot sauce (if using). Toss until well coated.
