  • 1 cup frozen mixed vegetables
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1 refrigerated pie crust (store-bought or homemade)
  • 1 cup chicken broth (low-sodium)
  • 1 medium onion, chopped
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp dried thyme

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 425°F (220°C).
  2. In a skillet over medium heat, sauté the chopped onion until translucent. Add the frozen mixed vegetables and cook until warmed through.
  3. Stir in the heavy cream and chicken broth, seasoning with garlic powder and thyme; let simmer gently.
  4. Fold in the diced ham until well-coated in the sauce.
  5. Pour the filling into a pie dish lined with one layer of crust. Cover with another crust and crimp edges to seal.
