Ingredients

- 1 lb ground beef or lamb
- 1/4 cup fresh parsley, chopped
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 cup couscous
- 1/4 cup tahini
- 2 tbsp lemon juice (freshly squeezed)
- 1 tsp cumin
- 1 tsp paprika
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C).
- In a large bowl, mix ground meat, garlic, parsley, cumin, paprika, salt, and pepper until combined.
- Form into golf ball-sized meatballs and place on a lined baking sheet.
- Bake for 20-25 minutes until golden brown.
- Meanwhile, bring water or broth to a boil; stir in couscous and let sit covered for about 5 minutes.
- In a small bowl, whisk tahini, lemon juice, garlic powder, and water until smooth.
- Serve couscous topped with meatballs and drizzled with tahini sauce.
Notes
- For a vegetarian option, consider using lentils or chickpeas instead of meat.
- Adjust spices according to your taste preference.
