Description

A delicious and easy dessert featuring baked pears drizzled with honey and sprinkled with cinnamon, topped with optional walnuts and vanilla ice cream.


Ingredients

  • 4 ripe pears
  • 1/4 cup honey
  • 2 tsp ground cinnamon
  • 4 tbsp unsalted butter
  • 1/2 cup chopped walnuts (optional)
  • Vanilla ice cream (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Spray a baking dish with nonstick cooking spray.
  2. Halve the pears and scoop out the cores. Place them cut-side up in the prepared baking dish.
  3. Drizzle honey over each pear half and sprinkle with cinnamon.
  4. Dot each pear half with small pats of butter and top with chopped walnuts if using.
  5. Bake for 25-30 minutes until tender and caramelized. Serve warm, optionally topped with vanilla ice cream.
