- 1/2 cup Butter (Melted)
- 1/4 cup Sugar
- 16 oz Cream Cheese (Softened)
- 1/2 cup Sugar
- 1 tsp Vanilla Extract
- 2 large Eggs
- 3 cups Apples (Sliced, a mix of Granny Smith and Honeycrisp)
- 1/4 cup Brown Sugar
- 1 tsp Cinnamon
- 1 tbsp Lemon Juice
- 1 cup Caramel Sauce (Store-bought or homemade)
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F and grease a 9×9-inch baking dish.
- Combine crushed graham crackers, melted butter, and sugar in a bowl, then press the mixture firmly into the bottom of the dish for a sturdy base.
- Place the crust in the preheated oven and bake for 8-10 minutes until golden and fragrant. Allow it to cool slightly while you prepare the cheesecake filling.
- In a mixing bowl, beat softened cream cheese, sugar, and vanilla extract until smooth and creamy. Add eggs one at a time, beating well after each addition until well combined and fluffy.
- Pour the creamy cheesecake mixture over the cooled graham cracker crust, spreading it evenly with a spatula.
- In a separate bowl, mix sliced apples with brown sugar, cinnamon, and lemon juice. Toss them until well coated.
- Distribute the spiced apple mixture evenly over the cheesecake filling.
- Place the dish back in the oven and bake for 30-35 minutes. The cheesecake should be set around the edges but slightly jiggly in the center.
- Allow the bars to cool completely, then drizzle caramel sauce generously over the top.
- Chill in the fridge for at least 2 hours before slicing for cleaner cuts and enhanced flavor.
