- 2 medium Yellow Onions, Sliced thinly
- 2 tablespoons Avocado Oil, Can substitute with olive oil
- 1 teaspoon Paprika, Adjust to taste
- 1 teaspoon Coarse Sea Salt, Reduce if mindful of sodium
- 1 teaspoon Garlic Powder, Or substitute with onion powder
- 1 teaspoon Seasoning Salt, Homemade or store-bought
- ½ teaspoon Ground Black Pepper, Adjust based on palate
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 425°F (220°C) and line a large baking sheet with parchment paper.
- Slice the onions into thin rings, about ⅛-inch thick, and separate them into individual rings.
- Combine all the dry seasonings in a small bowl: paprika, coarse sea salt, garlic powder, seasoning salt, and black pepper.
- Toss the onion rings with avocado oil in a large mixing bowl until every piece is lightly coated.
- Sprinkle the seasoning mixture over the oiled onions and toss again until evenly coated.
- Arrange the seasoned onion rings in a single layer on the prepared baking sheet.
- Bake for 20-25 minutes, flipping the rings halfway through with a spatula.
- Let cool for 2-3 minutes on the baking sheet before serving.
