Description

These crispy onion rings are seasoned to perfection and baked to a golden brown. Perfect as a snack or side dish.


Ingredients

  • 1 cup Parmesan Cheese, Freshly grated for best results
  • 2 medium Yellow Onions, Sliced thinly
  • 2 tablespoons Avocado Oil, Can substitute with olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon Paprika, Adjust to taste
  • 1 teaspoon Coarse Sea Salt, Reduce if mindful of sodium
  • 1 teaspoon Garlic Powder, Or substitute with onion powder
  • 1 teaspoon Seasoning Salt, Homemade or store-bought
  • ½ teaspoon Ground Black Pepper, Adjust based on palate

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 425°F (220°C) and line a large baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. Slice the onions into thin rings, about ⅛-inch thick, and separate them into individual rings.
  3. Combine all the dry seasonings in a small bowl: paprika, coarse sea salt, garlic powder, seasoning salt, and black pepper.
  4. Toss the onion rings with avocado oil in a large mixing bowl until every piece is lightly coated.
  5. Sprinkle the seasoning mixture over the oiled onions and toss again until evenly coated.
  6. Arrange the seasoned onion rings in a single layer on the prepared baking sheet.
  7. Bake for 20-25 minutes, flipping the rings halfway through with a spatula.
  8. Let cool for 2-3 minutes on the baking sheet before serving.
